European Law Firm welcomes new member firm from Luxembourg

Law firm Etude Patrick Goergen - Avocats à la Cour became European Law Firm's newest member at the recent general meeting in Tallinn, Estonia.  Etude Patrick Goergen was established in 1995 in Luxembourg, the judicial capital of Europe. The firm and deals with Banking & Finance, Commercial & Corporate, Debt collection and Litigation matters. They also pride themselves as being a niche firm in EU law and Single Market issues.

Friday's general meeting, also covered a report from Central Office including a summary of referrals for the last quarter and a presentation from Jaanus Magi, Managing Partner of host firm Concordia Attorneys-at-Law on their team and key areas of expertise.

Representatives from fifteen member firms present at the meeting discussed the development of the client facing White Book on Company Incorporation and were given an insight into "E-governance in Estonia" from MP and former Prime Minister, Mart Laar at the city's historic Town Hall.

The network has grown steadily since its establishment as an European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) in 1989 and now has representation in 26 European jurisdictions. To help commemorate ELF's 20th anniversary and raise the profile of the members firms, the first ever client facing newsletter has been developed providing information on the history and values of ELF, whilst also showcasing some of the work undertaken.
